Phillis Carey teaches cooking classes all over Southern California as "The Casual Gourmet," focusing on everyday and elegant meals prepared with minimum fuss. After taking a few years off from keeping up with her website, she wanted to start a new blog where she could post her recipes and sell her cookbooks. Phillis requested an organized page for her classes, a casual look with warm colors and a logo featuring the dominant colors from her cookbooks, orange and teal.
